Brunch Invite

    The pictures next to the menu are the same as the pictures at the entrance to the maze…could this mean anything?

    Which picture leads to the centre of the maze?

    Answer = 6. The only maze entrance which leads to the centre is the one with the chocolate rabbit. This corresponds to number 6 on the menu (6 chocolate rabbits).

The Basket of Eggs

  • Clue 1
    The eggs are lovely and colourful. Can you work out why they are like this? And have you seen those colours elsewhere?
  • Clue 2
    The large colourful egg covered with letters holds the key.
  • Reveal the answer
    Answer = 3. The colours on the eggs in the basket only match with one area on the big egg with letters. For each small egg, you will be able to see one letter in the corresponding area on the big egg. Once you have worked the letters out, re-arrange them and they will spell out “three”.

The Footprints

    Where are the footprints leading? Can you see a pattern? 
  • Clue 2
    Focus on the footprints. Do they form number?
  • Reveal the answer
    Answer = 5. The footprints are in the form of a number ‘5’.

The Riddle

  • Clue 1
    Where were each of the staff at the time of the incident? When you work out who is lying, you will be able to match their tool with the answer.
  • Clue 2
    The answer lies in the circular house. How many lines are there next to the tool of the person who is lying?

    Answer = 3. The maid said she was dusting the corners. Circular houses don’t have corners. There are three lines next to the maid’s duster.

The Word Search

    Could there be a number hiding in amongst these letters?
  • Clue 2
    Don’t forget, words can be diagonal in word searches.
  • Reveal the answer
    Answer = 15. The word "fifteen" is hiding diagonally from top to bottom (the first letter is four squares down and four squares across).

The Ransom Letter

    The answer lies in the letters.
  • Clue 2
    Read from top to bottom. Can you see a number?
  • Reveal the answer
    Answer = 9. The first letter on each line spells out the word "nine".

The Chocolate Bunny

  • Clue 1
    You must use the newspaper to solve the puzzle on the chocolate rabbit.
  • Clue 2
    Look at the letters at the bottom of the newspaper. Could they, together with the letters on the chocolate rabbit, mean something?
  • Reveal the answer
    Answer = 14. The letters at the bottom of the newspaper are a cipher. The letters on the bunny spell out ‘fourteen’ when fed into the cipher.
