Terms of Sale
Article 1 — Publisher

Article 2 — Products
Instant Escape Games sells digital escape games in the form of downloadable files (PDF or equivalent format). Products are described in full on instantescapegames.com.
Article 3 — Pricing
Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes. Instant Escape Games operates under the VAT exemption scheme (Article 293 B of the French Tax Code); no VAT is applied. The seller reserves the right to change prices at any time; the applicable price is the one shown at the time of ordering.
Article 4 — Order & Payment
Orders are confirmed upon acceptance of these Terms of Sale and full payment. Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments. An order confirmation is sent by email.
Article 5 — Delivery
As all products are entirely digital, delivery takes place by immediate download following payment confirmation, via a link sent to the email address provided at checkout. No physical item is shipped.
Article 6 — Right of Withdrawal
Under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content where delivery has begun before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, with the customer's prior express consent and their express waiver of the right of withdrawal.
By completing their order, the customer expressly acknowledges that delivery of the digital content begins immediately upon payment confirmation, and expressly waives their right of withdrawal.
Article 7 — Intellectual Property
All content offered by Instant Escape Games (text, images, files, puzzles) is protected by copyright. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without prior written authorisation is prohibited. Products are intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
Article 8 — Liability
Instant Escape Games cannot be held liable for damages resulting from misuse of the products or technical incompatibility with the customer's equipment. It is the customer's responsibility to verify compatibility before purchasing.
Article 9 — Personal Data
Data collected during the order process is used solely for order fulfilment. In accordance with GDPR, customers have the right to access, correct, and delete their data by contacting hello@instantescapegames.com.
Article 10 — Disputes & Governing Law
These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought first. Customers may also refer the matter to a consumer mediator, or use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
