The Bunch of Flowers

    Answer = 10. The clue asks you to count the total number of oranges. There are 8 altogether on puzzle three, 1 on puzzle four on the countertop and 1 on the Mother's Day card on puzzle 7.

The Box of Chocolates

    Someone has dropped your box of chocolates. You’ll need to rearrange the chocolates in the right order to find your number.

    This is an anagram. Rearrange the letters on the chocolates to spell out a number.
  • Reveal the answer
    Answer = 8. 'E' 'I' 'G' 'H' 'T'.

Orange Juice

  • Clue 1
    The answer in the middle segment of the two oranges is worked out by doing math with the numbers in the top and bottom oranges
  • Clue 2
    To get the number in the middle segment, you’ll need to times the two numbers in each orange together, then add together your two answers.
  • Reveal the answer
    Answer = 31. So 3 x 2 = 6 (the top orange). 5 x 5 = 25 (the bottom orange). Add both numbers together and you'll get 31 ( 25 + 6). The same formula works for all of the other oranges.

Pancakes

  • Clue 1
    The letters may look as it they are jumbled up but you just need to follow the pattern.
  • Clue 2
    Instead of reading left to right, try reading top to bottom on each pancake.
  • Reveal the answer
    Answer = 7. If you read the letters from top to bottom on each pancake (one at a time), they spell out 'WHAT IS TWO PLUS FIVE ?' (which equals 7).

Maple Syrup

  • Clue 1
    Can you see the pink carnation that is between the letter squares anywhere else? 
  • Clue 2
    Find the other maple syrup bottle that’s on the same page as a larger pink carnation. Then follow the instructions (with the arrows) on the letter squares, starting at the pink carnation. Does this spell out something?
  • Reveal the answer
    Answer = 3. Start at the pink carnation and (as per the instructions next to the other maple syrup bottle on the other sheet), go 4 across to the left , 4 up, 3 across to the left and 6 down.

Coffee

  • Clue 1
    Look closely at the map at all angles. Can you see a number?
  • Clue 2
    Focus on the dots. These form a shape.
  • Reveal the answer
    Answer = 2. Join the dots together and you will make a '2'.

Mother’s Day Card

  • Clue 1
    What you need is on the back of the card. Can you see the card on another sheet and is there anything to help you here?
  • Clue 2
    Can you see the cipher in the bathroom? This is what you need to crack the code on the Mother's Day card.
  • Reveal the answer
    Answer = 17. When fed into the cipher, the writing on the back of the Mother's Day card spells out 'THE CODE YOU NEED IS SEVENTEEN'.
